2026 Golf League

The 2026 season will start with the practice round on Thursday, April 23rd. 

Our first league week will be the following Thursday, April 30th.

UPDATES / INFO:

Your team number changed from last year so please double check your team number when viewing the schedule! The reason I change the team numbers is because the software that sets up the schedule has the same way of doing it each year so by changing team numbers, you have a better chance of not playing the same team only once.

Handicaps from last year will NOT carry over.  Each golfer will establish a handicap after week 5.

There will be blind bogey and hole flags on the course.

START TIMES, POINTS, ETC.

Please tee off between 4:30 and 5:45 – being courteous to Doral for blocking off these times for us.

If you are unable to golf, you may find a sub, work out another time to golf your opponents that week, or I can take your blind, which means your opponents golf against their own average score.  You automatically lose your team point and your opponent gets 1 extra handicap point, but at least you don’t forfeit all your points for that night.  If you do end up golfing another night, just text me a picture of your scorecard.  

The points are based per hole so make sure you have a score written down for each hole.  

FEES / PAYOUTS:

Doral usually cuts us a deal and charges $160 for the whole year (~20 weeks) for greens fees, which breaks down to $8 per 9-hole round, plus cart.  Obviously, if you are a member, no fee.  However, our own little league fee is $20 per golfer (just a one-time payment for the year).  Please put the $20 in the tan large envelope at the desk at Wolf Hollow and check your name off on the front.  This money is paid out 100% (minus software fee of $60).  See below.  Please pay the $20 within the first few weeks of league starting. You can pay by cash, check, PayPal (brandon@spydes.net) or Venmo (@Brandon-Scheider).

Payouts at the end of the year:
28 guys x $20 gives = $560  –  $60 software = $500 for payouts.
The payouts at the end of the year will be the following:
1st Place:   $ 200
2nd Place:   $ 140
3rd Place:   $ 100
4th Place:   $ 60

ADDITIONAL INFO:

There will be golf scorecards ready for each 4-some each week in the tan envelope at the desk.  Please be sure to write down your score on each hole.  If a sub is used, please write their FULL NAME on the card.  Please place your scorecard in the envelope at the desk.

Weeks alternate consecutively from front to back until later in the season due to high school home golf meets so please be sure to check the schedule on this website or your scorecard to make sure which side we golf each week.

I realize everyone is busy with other things so if your team cannot make it on a Thursday feel free to reach out to your opponent to schedule another night that works.  Or you and your partner may golf another night by yourselves.  Just text me a photo of your scorecard. (No cheaters!)
